The official Maibock tapping will be held at the Brewer's Dinner. Those attending will be the first to try it (it's paired with one of the courses). It will be tapped in the bar and restaurant after the conclusion of the dinner. 7% ABV, 35 IBU's. A smooth, malty, high gravity German Lager. More information on this delicious event:

April 10th at 7:00pm Tapping Party: We will be tapping "Get To Za Hoppa!!" An American Pale Ale with Centennial and Simcoe hops. Light in color with a huge hop aroma. 6% ABV, 50 IBU's.



Daredevil Brewing Co:
Lots going on at the brewery as we shift from our winter/spring special releases to summer and limited releases. You should now be seeing our limited release Rip Cord Double IPA in many draft locations across Indiana. We also just started brewing Vacation Kolsch last weekend and it will be out by early May this year on draft and we hope for much of the summer.

First Friday’s with Flat 12:
It is finally April and with the first of the month comes First Friday events. Start your First Friday Must See, Must Do List early by stopping at Tomlinson Tap Room this Friday(4/4) around noon. They will be tapping a special pin of our Black Acre collaboration beer. So, what is this tasty beer you should ask for? The very tasty - Crapshoot Indiana Common with Elderberry.

It has been a long time in the making, but it is finally ready and soon to be available in the Taproom. Next Thursday as our BeerThirty release, we will be tapping the BlueMile collaboration beer - BlueMile Extra Pale Ale, also known as The Official Beer in the Finishers tent at the One America 500 Festival Mini Marathon 5K. All four of our locations will have live local music and complimentary pint glasses for all patrons while supplies last, and this will be the first day we'll be rocking our new look.
We've been working with an incredibly talented group of artists and designers for over a year to create new Upland imagery that we feel represents our culture and ideals more accurately than some of the old designs, and we can't wait to share the results with you! Stop in to either of our two Bloomington locations, the Indianapolis Tasting Room, or the Carmel Tap House and take a look! 
Friday, April 11th - Vinyl Tap Rye Pale Ale, a beer made in honor of Record Store Day, will be ready for draft release in mid-April. Upland has partnered with Landlocked Music to donate 10% of sales from Vinyl tap in Bloomington to Lotus Blossoms Education and Arts Foundation, and with LUNA Music to donate 10% of sales from Vinyl Tap in Indianapolis to Second Helpings, a local food rescue organization. This draft-only beer will be on tap at all Upland locations on Friday April 11th and at select bars and restaurants across Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Chicago in the following weeks. It will also be available at Landlocked and LUNA on Record Store Day, April 19th, for customers to enjoy while browsing the vinyl and CD releases that are made exclusively for independent record stores to offer on this day.
 UpCup Homebrewing Competion
June 7th, 2014 at 3:00pm - 7th annual UpCup homebrewing competition will be hosted at the Upland production facility at 4060 Profile Pkwy in Bloomington on June 7th, 2014 at 3:00 pm. BJCP judges, professional brewers, and other brewing industry professionals will judge all entries, and the winner will receive the UpCup trophy and all the benefits that come with it. The winning recipe will be brewed by Upland brewers, featured on tap at all Upland locations, and entered in the 2014 Pro-Am competition at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Awards are given to second and third place as well. Entries may be dropped off at any Upland location or shipped to the production brewery and must be received by May 31st.

Cutters Brewing Company in Avon

This weekend, Cutters will be pouring at TAP at TAF in Lafayette. Come by and say hello!

We'll also be hosting several tappings and events in Bloomington next week:

On Tuesday, 4/8, The Farm will be tapping Cutters Knobstone Pale Ale.
On Thursday, 4/10, Cutters will be taking over the taps at Nick's. Knobstone Pale Ale, Bank Robber Belgian Brown, Rye on the Scarecrow Double Rye IPA, and Monon Wheat will be on tap.
Also on Thursday, we'll be hosting a tap takeover at The Tap. Floyd's Folly Scottish, General Brown's Sour Brown Ale, Knobstone Pale Ale, and Peanut Butter Empire will be on tap.
On Friday, 4/11, Knobstone Pale Ale will be tapped at Upstairs and The Alley Bar.Also on Friday, Yogi's will be tapping Half Court IPA, Monon Wheat, and Cherry Empire Imperial Stout. There will also be a tapping at The Atlas Bar Friday.

The brewery will operate under normal hours this week, 1-5 Saturday/Sunday and open until 6 during the week. Currently on tap: Lost River Blonde, Monon Wheat, Half Court IPA, Floyd's Folly Scottish Ale, Empire Imperial Stout, Pentagon Porter, Bank Robber Belgian Brown, Rye on the Scarecrow Double Rye IPA, Knobstone Pale Ale, Redline Amber, and General Brown's Sour Brown Ale.

You may have been on a brewery tour before, but this one is different! Scotty's Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company's special tapping for April will be their Green Tea Honey Kolsch - and head brewer Keely Thomlinson will be walking us through the process of how that particular beer is made.

The fun doesn't stop there! After the tour, we'll be sampling through some of the 3WM line-up to talk about the hops that are used in each and difficulties in finding and buying hops in an ever growing craft beer market.
But wait...there is more! We'll be making a VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT at the event. Bonus: pints are only $2.50 on Tuesdays. You really don't want to miss this!

Upland Brewing Company Sour + Wild + Funk Fest

Tickets for the third annual Upland Brewing Company Sour + Wild + Funk Fest are on sale now at www.uplandsourfest.eventbrite.com. This year's festival will take place Saturday, May 17th from 2pm-6pm at the historic Indianapolis City Market, preceded by a VIP Sour lecture and private tasting from 12:30-1:30pm, and with a Secret Barrel Society members-only party to follow in the building's catacombs from 7pm-9pm.
